    Poured in the back room.

    Our candles are made thirty feet from the register, forty at a time, in soy, coconut and beeswax. Black tapers that drip on purpose, an amber jar that smells like Uptown after a summer storm, and a skull that burns down into a glowing shell.

      Hollow Moon opened in 2019 with two racks, one jewelry case and a candle poured in the back. The racks multiplied. The rule stayed: every piece has to survive an August afternoon in black, a Halloween parade on Frenchmen and a long night out after.
