Restaurants

A website that keeps up with your menu.

Prices go up, dishes come and go, and hours change for the holidays. Send me the change and it's live within one business day, so nobody walks in expecting last season's menu.

What your site has

Built around the things people look up before they come in.

  • A menu people can read

Your menu as a real page, not a PDF someone has to pinch and zoom. Sections, prices, and notes laid out the way you run it.

  • Hours and directions

Your hours, your address, and a tap for directions. Parking or entrance notes too, if people need them.

  • An order button

A clear button to the online ordering you already have through Square, Toast, or similar, so more orders come to you instead of a delivery app that takes a cut.

  • Reservations

A link to the reservation system you already use, or a phone number people can tap to call.

  • Catering and parties

A page for catering and private event inquiries, so those bigger orders come straight to you.

  • Allergen and dietary notes

Marked on the menu the way you tell me to. You supply them, and you approve every line before it goes live.

  • Photos of the food and the room

A gallery people scroll before they decide. Your phone photos are usually fine, especially the ones taken near a window.

  • Gift cards and merch

A button to whatever you already sell them through, so nobody has to call and ask whether you have them.

  • Your Instagram, linked

Where your specials and daily posts live. The site points at it rather than trying to keep up with it.

  • Now hiring

A page for open roles you can point people to from the door, your window, or your Instagram. Up when you need it, down the week you're staffed.

No logins

You don't update it. I do.

Most restaurant websites hand you a login and call it control. Then prices change and the site doesn't, because the free hour to fix it lands at eleven at night.

Text me, email me, or send a photo. New prices, holiday hours, a dish that's gone, a job you're posting. It's live within one business day, and you never log in to anything.

What it costs

The plan

Setup fee when we start, monthly from the day it goes live. A 12 month minimum, then month to month.

  • Up to 8 pages

    To set up
    $399

Home, menu, hours and location, catering, and anything else your place needs.

  • Every month

    Kept up to date
    $99

Your web address, hosting, renewals, and menu, price, and hours changes live within one business day.

Why it costs more than Handled. Most businesses change their website a few times a year. A restaurant changes it constantly, and a price that's wrong on the menu becomes an argument at the table. So changes here go live within one business day, as many as you send, instead of waiting for a weekly batch.

If you leave, you take it with you. After your first 12 months you can cancel whenever you like, and I'll transfer your web address to you at no charge along with a copy of the site.

Questions

Common questions

What counts as a change?

Anything small: a new price, a dish added or removed, new photos, holiday hours. Send as many as you like.

A whole new page, or a full new menu with a different layout, gets a quick quote first so there are no surprises.

What's a business day?

Monday to Friday. A change you send on Tuesday afternoon is live by Wednesday afternoon. One sent on Saturday is live by the end of Monday.

Can I post daily specials?

Specials that change every day move faster than a website should. Post those on Facebook or Instagram, and your site links to them. Weekly or seasonal specials can go on the site like any other change.

Can I update it myself?

You don't need to. There's no login to remember and no layout to accidentally break. You send the change, I make it, and it's live within one business day.

If you ever want to take the site over and run it yourself, you can. It's yours, and I'll hand it across with a copy of everything.

I already use Toast or Square. Do I have to change anything?

No. Keep your ordering and payments exactly as they are. Your new site links to them, so customers can order the same way they do now.

Who's responsible if a price on the site is wrong?

The menu is yours, so you approve every line and let me know when something changes. Once you tell me, it's fixed within one business day. If I typed it wrong, I fix it at no charge.

Do you take photos of the food?

No. Good photos from your phone work well, especially in daylight near a window. Send me what you have and I'll use the best of them.

What if my email or web address already exists?

It stays in your account, and I connect the new site in a way that leaves your email exactly as it is.

Send me your restaurant's name and I'll build you a sample. If it isn't for you, that's the end of it.
