How booking works

Parties of one to six in the dining room

Seven guests or more dine in the Tabby Room, which seats up to fourteen. See private dining.

No reservation? The eight seat bar counter is kept for walk ins from 5pm.

Before you book

A small room runs on every table arriving. These keep it fair for the guests on the waiting list.

Card hold
We hold a card for $50 per guest when you book. Nothing is charged unless you cancel late or don’t arrive.
Cancelling
Change or cancel up to 48 hours before your seating at no cost. Inside 48 hours the hold is charged, unless we can fill the table again.
Running late
We hold a table for 20 minutes. After that we may shorten the menu so the kitchen can keep pace for the rest of the room.
Dress
No jacket required. Dress as you would for a good evening out, and please leave caps and gym clothes at home.
Children
Guests 12 and older are welcome at the tasting menu. Younger children are welcome at the bar counter before 7pm.
Larger parties
Parties of seven to fourteen book the Tabby Room. The whole restaurant is available on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In the Historic District, a short walk south of the river. Look for the brass lamp over a green door.

Metered parking on the nearby streets and a public garage within two blocks.

Dining room seatings 5:30 to 8:45pm. The bar counter opens at 5.

Step free from the lane

The dining room has no steps, and the restroom is accessible.

Ask your server near the end of the meal and we’ll call a taxi or a car. Coats are kept by the door, so there’s nothing to wait for.
